The Offseason, the CBA, and Sunday Football

With my first season over with the Redskins, they're a lot of things that I would like to work on this off-season.
I want to be involved in more charity events and things in the community. Growing up, we didn't have anyone come and speak to us about their experiences of how they made it.
I want to figure out how to be a part of the offense in the 2011 season. I carried the ball last season four times to average 4.8 yards per carry. I had one play at fullback and scored my first touchdown in the NFL.
The expiration of the old CBA is coming. It ends on March 3rd at 11:59 pm.
I hope there is football next year. Football is what people watch on Sundays and the Super Bowl every year is one of the most watched events, if not the most watched.
The owners need to understand what we go through as players in terms of health. The average life span of an NFL player is 3 1/2 years. Why shorten that by adding two more games to the regular season?
I don't want them to cut two pre-season games out because young guys like me get a chance to prove themselves and how hard it will be for teams to measure out the talent that they have.
Hopefully by March 4th, a new CBA will be signed and the 2011 season will get underway.
I can't even imagine Sunday's without football.
